A dad. A dog. An AI. A kid with a bookshelf.
NolaDreamsOfChicky started the way most dumb good ideas start — at bedtime, after the third reading of a book, with a sleeping dog on the couch and a too-awake kid demanding “one more.”
Nola is the dog. White sunglasses, mostly asleep. Chicky is the kid. Clawd is the AI assistant. The dad is me, Ben.
The deal is simple: we read a book, we riff on what genre it would be if it were a song, and then we make the song. Sometimes it's a medieval folk ballad about an owl running a food cart. Sometimes it's a boom-bap track about construction trucks clocking out for the night. Every song is generated with Suno v5.5, with lyrics written together.
The songs are free. Always. No DRM. If your kid also loves Night Lunch or Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site, we built these for them too. Grab the MP3, put it in the car, fall asleep to it.
The whole storefront — the cart, the account system, the checkout flow — is extremely overbuilt for a shop where every price tag says $0. That's on purpose. We wanted it to feel like a real record label. Maybe one day it will be.
